Conditions of Acceptance

·         Papers will only be published in English.

·        Each typescript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been submitted for publication elsewhere in English, unless it was a conference paper, in which case this should be noted together with the statement that the paper was not originally copyrighted and that it has been completely re-written. Previous publication in another language, should also be disclosed.

·         Papers should be strictly prepared based on the Author guidelines.

·      The Editor reserves the right to refuse any typescript, whether on invitation or otherwise, and to make suggestions and/or modifications before publication.

·         Typescripts which have been accepted become the property of the editor and IJSSS. It is a condition of acceptance that copyright shall be vested in the editor and IJSSS, unless the paper has been designated Open Access and the appropriated arrangements made.

·         The editor and IJSSS shall not be held responsible for errors which are the result of author’s oversights.

·         All papers published by IJSSS place great emphasis on the quality of the papers they publish.

·       The editor’s recommendations determine whether a paper will be accepted / accepted subject to change / subject to resubmission with significant changes / rejected.

Submission Preparation Checklist (All items required)

·         The submission has not been previously published in English nor is it before another journal for consideration; or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor.

·         The text meets the formatting requirements outlined in the Submission Guidelines section.

·         The submission file is in Word document file format.

·        You have identified three experts (names, full addresses and expertise) in the subject of your paper. These experts should be personally unknown to the authors and at least two of them should be from a different country from the author(s). [Optional]

·        You have completely filled the required Author Agreement (Copyright) document (get this document in PDF format). [Applicable for Research paper / Article]

·         Check that you have prepared Three files :

o        File 1. Title Page- The title of the paper, plus the names, affiliation and complete addresses, e-mail and fax number of authors, and an abstract, keywords, brief biographical notes about authors and any acknowledgements (See Annexure -1 in Submission Guidelines)

o        File 2. The text of the paper, including text, abstract, references and notes, tables, figure captions, figures, but without the names of authors, their biographical notes or any acknowledgements

o        File 3. The cover letter (See Submission Guidelines)

Email all three files in MS Word Format as attachment to Editor-inChief, IJSSS (research.ijsss@gmail.com or editor@ijsss.com)

For all Submissions: Check that you have removed all author identification (names and affiliations) and any acknowledgements from the main manuscript that you are going to submit. Please make sure that author’s names are not included in the document/file properties. Do not remove the title, abstract or the keywords from your paper.

Note : Editors of IJSSS reserve the right to change any guidelines without prior consent of authors or contributors. The decision in that shall be final and should be acceptable to the authors/contributors/stakeholders.

Manuscript Submission and Publication Fee

·         There is no submission fee for Contribution of manuscript for approval. Once the manuscript is approved, the author has to pay for the publication.

Corresponding Author will be entitled to a copy of the printed journal free of charge, i.e. one printed copy is provided against one manuscript disregarding the number of the authors.
